iPhone USERS MIGHT BE FACING SERIOUS PROBLEMS APPLE CONFIRMS.

iPhone users are facing serious software issues.

Recently Apple confirmed two serious problems for iPhone and iPads and now there's another. A growing number of iPhone users according to MacRumours have been reporting several battery drain problems.
One reason is because of the Apple Music app, interestingly you don't have to be a subscriber to be affected. The preinstalled app is monopolizing battery resources and iPhones that are badly hit only last for few hours on full charge. Apple support has confirmed this problem and there hasn't been any software fix for it, the only way it can be solved for now is by a full factory reset aka the nuclear option. The problem seem to affect all Apple music supported iPhone models including some iPads across all various versions of iOS including iOS 13.6 and the new iOS 14 beta and the issue seems to spreading at really fast rate.
We assume that the problem was caused by a server issue due to the large scale of affected users and iOS versions as well. Whether or not the problem can be fixed by a server is unknown but we expect Apple is already working on a solution to the problem on its next iOS update but given the short period of time it's unsure if they'd be able to squeeze the fix in the iOS 13.6 update or they'd wait patiently to fix the issue in the upcoming iOS 14.

Affected iPhones would would iPhone consuming a lot of battery resource

If you’d like to diagnose whether your device is affected, navigate to: Settings > Battery > Show Activity. Affected users will see Apple Music background usage is off the scale. Some users have found that doing an iCloud reset helps, others have got usage back to normal by deleting the app but, as mentioned above, for others this makes no difference. Apple Support’s factory reset suggestion also works but should be a last resort.
Another problem came up in the last 24 hours with millions of Apple users having many of their most popular iOS apps such as Spotify, TikTok etc repeatedly crashing after opening. This problem is said to have generated from a bug in Facebook's SDK which allows apps to integrate Facebook login functionality and even if you're not logged in with Facebook, the app would still be affected nonetheless because if the integration of the Facebook login function. This isn't the first time Facebook SDK is failing this year on iOS based applications as Android users aren't affected. Facebook claims this problem has been fixed but I feel Facebook need to find a lasting solution to the integration of Facebook login functionality in iOS based app or apps would be forced to remove the functionality on iOS based applications.
We look forward to seeing how apple fixes these software issue.
