Acer will start selling a new Google Chromebook model with an advanced processor and hardware tough enough for military use, its latest in a series of products that have historically been strong-sellers. The Taiwanese company on Tuesday launched its Chromebook Spin 713 with an Intel processor that offers “advanced mobile performance” and up to 10 hours of battery life. The thin, convertible laptop that runs on Chrome like all PCs in its class will come with a 13.5-inch touch display and “military-grade durability” to resist shocks and dents, Acer said.
