If you ever used an iPhone and an Android phone simultaneously, you'd realize that iPhone better handled the social media experience like when you want to do an Instagram live video or just a random video call, even if you haven't you must have seen how terrible Android social media apps came be compared to apple.
If you haven't then it's the absolute truth, you'd see iPhone fans all over Twitter throwing shades at Android users which is well deserved if I must say, but to get to the bottom of such an enormous difference in social media experience we need to take a closer look at both phones.
iPhone and Android run on completely difference platforms iPhone runs on iOS while Android phones run on Google's Android OS of course but is this necessarily the key difference? I'd say NO
The difference comes when we examine how iPhones yearly lineup comes, Apple releases about 3-4 variants of iPhone yearly which means Social media software developers can take their time to design apps that work specifically and at optimal level for each iPhone variant while for Android devices whose numbers are really unknown, take Samsung as an example as released more than 20 various products from A series to it's M series, it's Ultra and pros and there's still more to be released this year, no social media company would design an app tailored for each specific Samsung device hence they come up with a one size fits all design for these devices which would never perform at it's max on any device.
Another reason for this huge difference is in the hardware and software of the devices, Apple handles every part of the production from it's hardware through to it's software so the softwares are specifically built for the hardware but in the case of Android devices where chipsets are produced by the likes of MediaTek and Snapdragon as are other parts of the Android device, Android has very little control over the perform of its device this in turn affects how specific applications work on the device.
Well this is what I think, tell me if you think I'm right in the comment section below. And if you have something you'd like me to talk about let me know in the comment section.
