NEWS: HTC CONFIRMS LAUNCH DATE FOR ITS NEW PHONE

The Taiwan-based phone producer "HTC" was one of the greatest names of Android smartphone vendors, it actually produced the first commercial Android smartphone, the HTC Dream, in 2008. HTC’s phones have seen abysmal sales in the last few years and it recorded its sixth straight quarterly loss in Q3 2019. In other words, people simply aren’t buying HTC’s phones and haven’t been doing so for a couple of years.
This year the Taiwan based vendor plans on doing a come back with the launch of it's new phone, the HTC Desire Pro 20 on  16. 06. 2020. The set date was posted on its Facebook page yesterday with the caption "save the date"
Here's what we know about the phone; it's said to have pinch hole camera in the front display and a quad rear camera. The CEO in an interview hinted that the company companies would invent more on Premium Flagships more this year and they would be making a 5G phone. We're not sure if this particular phone would be one of it's 5G  phones. HTC needs to offer something that will make it stand out if it's to get any traction with this phone. It will be interesting to see what HTC has to offer, but it has been a long time since HTC was been a serious contender in smartphones. Do you think HTC has a chance to become big again? Or would this phone follow in it's predecessors path of making poor sales? Let us know what you think in the comment section below
